New academic book has been published, which is including the achievements of RIHN project called “Biodiversity-driven Nutrient Cycling and Human Well-being in Social-Ecological Systems”. Prof. Saizen and Assist. Prof. Asano are contributing some sections in this book. This book is developing new research insights of watershed management based on diligent field surveys showing the case studies at Biwa lake in Japan and Laguna lake in the Philippines.
On 23 September, the 2020 doctorate graduation ceremony was held at the Clock Tower Centennial Hall. Hong-san got Ph.D. degree and graduated GSGES. Lam-san and Yuri (Yuri was attending the ceremony online from Indonesia) got Master degree and Yuri gave the speech as a representative of master course students.
First LRP seminar has been conducted online. All members attended the seminar after a long time. We confirmed seminar guidance and then, we exchanged the information of the situation of countries where we were staying, like Indonesia, Thailand, and Japan. We hope that we can get together at our laboratory, “LRP” in the very very near future!
