Japan-Korea Rural Planning International Conference (Prof. Saizen, Nov. 6-7, 2025)

Prof. Saizen participated Japan-Korea Rural Planning International Conference held at University of Miyazaki. This conference is held every year by both Japan and Korea rural planning associations. The title was "Inheritance of rural traditional culture and sustainable community development" and participants discussed to solve problems induced by rural shrinking and aging society in both countries.

As part of the 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and South Korea, we planted Rose of Sharon, the national flower of South Korea, together with local elementary school students.

Next year, the conference will be held in South Korea!
